Organizational structure

Rehabilitation Services (RS) is an organizational section in the Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) Division of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS).

RS programs include:

  • Vocational rehabilitation (VR)
  • Kansas Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired (KSBVI)
    • - The Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (RCBVI)
    - Rehabilitation Teaching (RT)
    - Kansas Seniors Achieving Independent Living (Kan-SAIL)
    - Business Enterprise Program (BEP)
  • The Client Assistance Program (CAP)
  • The Kansas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH)
  • Disability Determination Services (DDS)

    • Unless otherwise specifically noted, the policies in this manual relate to the VR program as authorized through the Rehabilitation Act, Public Law 93-112.
