What's happening in Prevention?
Training Opportunities

- Youth Gambing Recreation with Risk

This training is intended to increase awareness of the magnitude and seriousness of problem gambling among youth. The training includes slides, video, group activities and case reviews.


- Older Adults

     - Seasoned Adults Gambling Experience (SAGE)
This training is intended to increase awareness of the magnitude and seriousness of problem gambling among older adults. The training includes slides, video, group activities and case reviews

      - Older Adult Suicide
This program is intended to increase awareness of the magnitude and seriousness of older adult suicide.  The training includes slides, a video, interactive learning and helpful resources.  A special feature of this training is a presentation of the results of a Shawnee County older adult suicide study for the years 2000 through 2004.

- Urgent Challenge
  
A one-day curriculum designed to address problem gambling and equip participants to provide gambling presentations in their communities.
