Assurance Screening
(KQAS)

KCDHH administers the Kansas Quality Assurance Screening (KQAS) or also known as the state certification system. The test has two parts: (1) a 50 question written test for newcomers to the system or recent Interpreter Training Program (ITP) graduates, and (2) the performance part of the test that evaluates the interpreting and/or transliterating skills.
