HIPAA Awareness Training Outcomes:

Why are we making a big deal out of HIPAA?

It's the law. All staff must complete HIPAA Awareness Training to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding the privacy and security of protected health information (PHI).

Your Responsibility is to Protect & Safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).

This training will focus on the PRIVACY component of HIPAA.

Trainees will be directed to a congratulatory page after they receive 100% on the Skills Assessment. Trainees will enter their names on a login screen to generate this certificate of completion.

The HIPAA Awareness Training package includes Interactive Online Training, Workbook, Skills Assessment Tests, Brochure, PowerPoint Presentation and Posters. The materials may be printed in color or in black and white.

The HIPAA Awareness online interactive training takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. It ends with a login screen where trainees type in their names. This will generate a congratulatory screen with the trainee's name and date which can be printed.
