Disability and Behavioral Health Services (DBHS) is a person-centered, value-based purchaser or provider of health care and support services for Kansans with disabilities or who have low income.
The services provided through DBHS assist these Kansans to live healthy, successful and self-determined lives in their homes and communities.

Together with the Federal Department of Health and Human Services through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and the entire suicide prevention community are putting measures in place to ensure that every person calling for help during a suicidal crisis is answered.
