DD Stakeholder Meetings
Meetings held to discuss current DD system management issues, policy development, budget status, legislative issues, and the SRS/CDDO Contract. This body reviews and agrees to new/updated policies and frequently refers issues to work groups for further study. The group includes CDDOs, CSPs, and other stakeholders & advocacy organizations.

 

 

Statewide Quality Oversight Committee
The committee examines issues related to appropriate oversight of MR/DD services being provided to individuals and families, consistent with the management of quality enhancement/quality assurance requirements of 30-64-26 and 30-64-27 and of the mission of SRS.  Additionally, the committee will work in partnership with concerned stakeholders representing community service providers, consumer advocacy groups and other interested parties to ensure that processes for system quality overs

Statewide Funding Committee
The Statewide Funding Committee was set up through the FY 2002 SRS/CDDO Contract. The Committee's goal is efficient management of the statewide allocation in order to maximize the system's financial ability to meet the needs of eligible Kansans with developmental disabilities. The Committee's two responsibilities are to recommend adjustments in CDDO allocations and annually review the allocation methodology.

MR/DD Waiver Definition Work Group
This Stakeholder group is charged with reviewing the current HCBS-MR/DD waiver service definitions and recommending changes to SRS/DBHS Leadership. The group will complete it's work by August 15, 2004 with a targeted implementation date for changes of January 1, 2005.

BASIS Roundtable
The BASIS Roundtable includes representatives from all 27 CDDO's or their designee's. The group meets periodically throughout the year to address issues related to BASIS assessments. The Roundtable gives assessors an opportunity to gather and discuss unique issues in their CDDO area as part of an effort to implement assessments more consistently across the State.
