Independent Living Meetings
The directors of the Centers for Independent Living (CIL) meet with HCP/CSS staff four times a year to discuss current CIL issues, including the physical disabilities (PD) waiver waiting list, PD waiver policies and procedures, budget status, legislative issues, Independent Living grants, training for Area Medicaid Managers and Independent Living Counselors. etc. This group refers issues to work groups for further study.
