October 16, 2001 - SRS career fair scheduled for October 18The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) will hold a career fair on Thursday October 18 2001, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the rotunda of the Capitol. The purpose of the career fair is to support and promote career development within the agency. Staff from several different areas within SRS will provide information, and will be available to answer questions regarding programs and services. Educational organizations from Topeka and the surrounding area will also be on hand to discuss general education requirements and degree completion requirements for becoming nurses and social workers. While the career fair is being used as a tool to support and promote career development within the agency, we also want to extend an invitation to anyone in the community interested in pursuing a job with SRS. The career fair will provide employees, as well as the public, with useful information about the work that occurs within the various areas of the agency and the educational opportunities that are available in the Topeka area. For more information regarding the career fair please contact Tracy Gamino at 785-296-2763, or tjxg@srskansas.org |
