900-28 ADDING/GENERATING A NOTICE OF ASSIGNMENT FOR A CHILD WHO WAS A NON-CASE RELATED PERSON AND IS NOW A CASE RELATED PERSON
These procedures provide instructions for adding and printing the Kansas or out-of-state Notice of Assignment of Support Rights documents (ASSIGNLN or ASSIGNN.) These procedures assume that a NOA has already been sent to the court for the court order.
Use this business practice if the child was a non-case related person at the time the NOA was sent to the court. LROL for the NOA should list the child as a case related person. If the child was non-case related at the time the NOA was downloaded and sent to the court, the NOA did not list the child. If you need to determine who was listed on the NOA, refer to the NOA in your paper file.
An NOA including the child(ren) must be sent to the court.
