1100-32 RECORDING OVERPAYMENT INTENT

This process allows the user to record or view the intention of an AP/Payor regarding overpayments. The intention applies to all obligations for all court orders for that person. After the overpayment intent is recorded, all overpayments can be processed. If the overpayment intent of Notice is changed to Future, Refund, Gift or Cancel, the monitored document will close. If the intent of Cancel is added and another payment comes in which is an overpayment, the system will process this as if no intent has been set and will start the process over by generating a notice to the obligor. Multiple overpayment intents must have different Effective Dates, for example if it is >N= (notice) effective today, the change of the intent must be effective tomorrow.
