BUSINESS PRACTICE
1000-20

Revised: 04/16/99

1000-20 UPDATING MANUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION RECORDS (IADA Records)

This business practice is used to update manual administrative action records. Example: The obligor responds to a demand letter.

Next to IADA or OBLO:

1. On IADA:

--Enter--

Court case number

Trib State

County

CSE person number or SSN

Administrative action type

Enter a Y for all obligations, if the action applied to all of the obligations on the court order.

--Press PF2 display. If the action was taken against Aone@ obligation, it will display the most recent administrative action of that type for the obligation.--

If the administrative action (same type and taken date) was taken against multiple obligations, the highest obligation number for the action taken date will be displayed. A message will display indicating there are multiple obligation records for the administrative action. This indicates to the user the need to display the other administrative action obligation records for the action taken.

The assumption can be made that all obligation numbers less than the number displayed have the administrative action record tied to them since all actions were selected for the administrative action. Obligation numbers that exist for the obligor higher than the first obligation record displayed were added to the system AFTER the administrative action was taken.

Enter AS@ in the prompt field for Obligation number

Press PF4 to proceed to OPAY

Select the obligation number

Press PF9 return and the obligation will be displayed.

Note: EACH applicable obligation will need to be selected and updated. If the obligation does not have an administrative action record a message will be displayed.

OR

1. On OBLO:

--Enter S in the Sel field by the administrative action--

--Press PF15 detail to proceed to the IADA screen where the administrative action record will be displayed--

If the action was taken against Aone@ obligation, it will display the most recent administrative action of that type for the obligation.

If the administrative action (same type and taken date) was taken against multiple obligations, the most recent obligation (highest obligation number) for the action taken date will be displayed but a message will display indicating there are multiple obligation records for the administrative action. This indicates that the user will need to display the other administrative action obligation records for the action taken. The assumption can be made that all obligation numbers less than the number displayed have the administrative action record tied to them since all actions were selected for the administrative action. Obligation numbers that exist for the obligor higher than the first obligation record displayed were added to the system AFTER the administrative action was taken.

2. On IADA:

--Type AS@ on the prompt to select an obligation number--

--Press PF4 list to proceed to OPAY--

--Select the appropriate obligation number--

--Press PF9 Return and the obligation will be displayed--

NOTE: EACH applicable obligation will need to be selected and updated. If the obligation does not have an administrative action record a message will be displayed.
