It's a new look for CFS Training page-
We hope this will help make information on classes you need easy to locate and we've been able to add a lot of terrific resources, including links to a number of online courses and newsletters we can all use to support family-centered practice. Check for specific topics you are interested in and if we don't have something you like, send your suggestion to: cfstraining@srs.ks.gov. We'll be adding to this frequently.
Simplified
Registration!-
At last! Now you can be sure you provide all needed information in your first request and we can get everything we need for your registration, confirmations and follow-up evaluations, even cancellations!
For All of Us-We have added links to each CW/CBS Provider agency. We wanted to make it a little easier to stay in contact and see what training resources might be shared.
For CFS -
Curriculum lists for specific positions have been added to the SRS Student Center. Now it will be easy to assign training for new staff and to see any new training requirements or recommendations as they are available.
For Trainers -Lots of Resources Available!
The Word on Evaluations -
There will be a lot going on as we increase the level and value of evaluations on performance following training and Transfer of Learning issues. Evaluations will be completed at the end of each class. You will also begin to see an increase in pre- and post-assessments with some pre-assessments being delivered in an online format. Some courses may require pre-reading, to help you make best use of your time in class. We will let you know when you will need to plan for time before a class.
In addition, many courses will include a Transfer of Learning activity to help workers take learning back and try it out in the real world. We will be using online survey tools to help follow up on these efforts to implement new skills or practices. Share your Transfer of Learning activity with your supervisor or manager and identify an opportunity for practice- you'll get to tell us all about it! |
